Component Status Options - Maintenance Adjusted is based on the actual hours on all the components.  0% - is used for a new delivery helicopter or a hypothetical status based on components at 0% use or full-life, 50% - Is a hypothetical status based on components at 50% use or half-life.  If you select 0% or 50% only you may skip the component section and go straight to the equipment section.  Only Maintenance Adjusted will require you to enter all the component times.
